This pilgrimage combines sacred Buddhist sites with India's cultural icons. Begin at Bodhgaya with a visit to the Mahabodhi Temple and monasteries, then journey to Varanasi for the sacred vibe of the Ganges and Sarnath. Visit Kushinagar, where Buddha's Mahaparinirvana took place, then journey to Lumbini, his birthplace. Visit monasteries and stupas associated with Buddha's teachings and miracles at Sravasti. The tour then visits Agra, home to the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. It culminates finally in Delhi with explorations of Qutub Minar, India Gate, Lotus Temple, among others. An enriching mix of Buddhist heritage and India's most famous monuments.
Arrival at Gaya airport, then transfer to hotel in Bodhgaya for overnight stay.
Full day at Bodhgaya. Visit Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village, Niranjana river, 80 feet high lord Buddha Statue & Various international monasteries. All meals and overnight stay at Bodhgaya.
After breakfast at hotel proceed to Varanasi (6hrs). On arrival proceed for Saranath (14Km) to visit Dhamekha Stupa and Deer park. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Varanasi.
Early morning boat ride in the river Ganges. Then drive to Kushinagar (7 hrs). Lunch will be served en route. On arrival check in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at hotel proceed for visiting Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha). Lunch at hotel. After lunch drive (04 hrs) to Lumbini (in Nepal). (Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal). On arrival, check in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Lumbini.
After breakfast at hotel visit the Holy Birth place of Lord Buddha Mayadevi Temple and Ashokan Pillar. Early lunch and then drive to Sravasti (4 hrs). Enroute visit Kapilvastu (10 kms). On arrival check in at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast drive to Sravasti where Buddha spent for 25 rainy seasons in the Jetvana Gardens. The city has age-old stupas, majestic monasteries and several temples. In Sravasti visit Saheth - Maheth & Jetvan. Lunch at hotel and then proceed to Lucknow (4hrs). At Lucknow dinner at hotel and then proceed to railway station for overnight journey to Agra.
Arrive Agra early in the morning and check in to hotel. After breakfast visit the world famous Taj Mahal (Friday closed). Also visit the Agra fort. Lunch at hotel. In the evening proceed towards Agra railway station for journey to Delhi (3 hrs) On arrival at Delhi, check in to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit the 11th century Qutab Minar, India Gate, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial, Lotus Temple and many other places. Timely transfer to airport for connecting flight to home
