Tour Plan

Day 01: Arrival Ahmedabad

On arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the Calico Museum of Textiles, one of India’s finest museums dedicated to the art of weaving and fabric heritage. Continue to explore the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, known for its exquisite stone latticework, and visit the historic Sabarmati Ashram, once home to Mahatma Gandhi. In the evening, enjoy a heritage walk through the old quarters of Ahmedabad to experience its traditional wooden havelis and bustling bazaars. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 02: Ahmedabad – Patan – Modhera – Dasada

After breakfast, drive to Patan to visit Rani ki Vav, the magnificent Queen’s Stepwell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, explore the Patan Patola Weaving Centre, where artisans still practice the ancient double ikat silk weaving technique. Continue your journey to Modhera to admire the beautifully carved Sun Temple, dedicated to the solar deity. In the evening, proceed to Dasada for an overnight stay.

Day 03: Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch)

morning, enjoy an exciting jeep safari in the Little Rann of Kutch, home to the endangered Indian Wild Ass and a wide variety of migratory birds. Later, visit nearby Rabari and Bharwad tribal villages to observe their vibrant embroidery traditions and pastoral lifestyle. Return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay in Dasada.

Day 04: Dasada – Bhuj

After breakfast, drive to Bhuj, a city rich in Kutch’s artistic heritage. En route, stop at Ajrakhpur, a village famous for its traditional block printing using natural dyes and intricate geometric patterns. On arrival in Bhuj, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bhuj.

Day 05: Bhuj – Banni & Hodka Villages

Spend the day exploring the artisan villages of the Banni region, including Hodka, Nirona, Ludiya, and Bhirandiyara. Interact with local craftsmen specializing in Rogan painting, lacquer work, leather crafts, embroidery, and bell making. Experience the distinct mud and mirror architecture of Kutchi villages and meet tribal communities such as the Meghwal, Mutwa, and Harijan people. Day 06: Banni – Kala Dungar – White Rann – Bhuj

visit Kala Dungar, the Black Hill, which offers panoramic views of the Great Rann of Kutch. Later, drive to the White Rann to witness the surreal salt desert at sunset and enjoy cultural performances that celebrate the spirit of Kutch. Return to Bhuj for an overnight stay.

Day 07: Bhuj – Rajkot / Gondal

Depart Bhuj after breakfast and drive to Rajkot or Gondal. In Rajkot, visit the Watson Museum and Kaba Gandhi No Delo, Mahatma Gandhi’s childhood home. Continue to Gondal to explore the elegant Naulakha Palace, known for its ornate carvings and royal artifacts. Overnight stay in Gondal.

Day 08: Gondal – Ahmedabad

After breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad. En route, you may visit Khambhat, a town known for its agate stone workshops and traditional bead-making craft. Arrive in Ahmedabad and check in at your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 09: Departure
